Three back-to-back earthquakes have rocked the Myanmar’s capital region of Yangon on Thursday. The earthquakes measured 4.2, 4.4, and 4.5 on the Richter scale respectively, according to the National Center for Seismology.

The first quake hit on Wednesay midnight, and the final one happened 5:43 AM IST on Thursday.

No casualties have been reported yet. It is unclear how much structural damage has happened due to the earthquakes.

This is the second place that has been hit by a major earthquake this week. On Friday, the Gulf of California was struck by a 6.4 magnitude earthquake. No casualties were reported in that case either.
