New Delhi: In a recent interview with Elon Musk on X, former President Donald Trump made headlines by labeling President Joe Biden’s potential withdrawal from the presidential race as a "coup." This provocative statement was part of a broader conversation between Trump and Musk, which covered various political and personal topics.

DDoS attack disrupts broadcast

The interview commenced with Elon Musk addressing a significant Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack that had severely disrupted the live broadcast, delaying it well beyond its scheduled 8 PM start. Musk suggested that this attack was a sign of the substantial opposition to President Trump’s voice being heard. He remarked, “This massive [DDOS] attack illustrates that there's a lot of opposition to people just hearing what President Trump has to say.” This comment set a tense tone for the rest of the discussion.

Discussion turns to assassination and security

The conversation took a dark turn when Musk and Trump discussed the ideal locations for an assassination attempt. Musk pointed out the obviousness of certain potential spots, noting, “If the goal is to assassinate, what's your favorite spot? That building. That building would be number one.” Trump concurred, agreeing that such a location would indeed be a prime target. Musk praised Trump for his response to a previous assassination attempt, highlighting Trump’s refusal to retreat and his continued defiant stance. Musk said, “Your actions after that assassination attempt were inspiring.” Trump reflected on how the event strengthened his faith, attributing his survival to a well-known immigration chart that redirected his focus and ultimately saved his life.

Trump criticizes Kamala Harris over policy

The discussion shifted to policy, where Trump took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing her of hypocrisy. Trump alleged that Harris had appropriated his idea of eliminating taxes on tips while simultaneously advocating for increased IRS surveillance on tips. “These people are FAKE,” Trump declared, criticizing the administration for hiring 88,000 IRS agents to monitor tips, only for Harris to adopt his policy for political gain.

Creation of a government efficiency commission

Musk proposed the establishment of a "government efficiency commission" to oversee and curtail unnecessary government expenditures. He emphasized the urgent need for this commission, given the current economic climate where interest payments on national debt have eclipsed the defense budget. This scenario, Musk argues, underscores the necessity for immediate and comprehensive action to streamline government spending and mitigate inflationary pressures.

Musk warns about America's future

The interview concluded with Musk issuing a grave warning about America's future if current border policies remain unchanged. He expressed concern that the country might not survive if open borders persist for another four years. Musk stated, “I’m not sure we’ve got a country if open borders persist for another four years.” Trump echoed this sentiment, stressing that Kamala Harris’s potential presidency could result in a massive influx of people from around the world, estimating that 50 to 60 million could enter the U.S. under her leadership.
