During this attack, BLA fighters killed 50 to 60 Pakistani soldiers. An eyewitness Punjabi soldier said that he saw BLA fighters killing soldiers with his own eyes. According to the report, there were 440 passengers on the train, out of which 21 were killed while capturing the train.
