New Delhi: A shocking incident came to light from Indiana's Michigan where a 17-year-old boy named Troy Coleman who suffers from schizophrenia was found. He had been missing for several months and he was found safe. Social media posts suggest that he was found after unexpectedly appearing on livestream of a well-known Twitch user.
During a live stream hosted by Lacy & Clix in Miami, Florida, viewers were shocked to see a teen with no shirt approach the streamers. The missing boy was unfamiliar to them and this encounter led to a surprising fact.
Troy's brother happened to watch the livestream and recognized the young man as his missing brother. He promptly contacted Lacy & Clix to inform them of the situation. In an emotional email, he pleaded for help "Hello, my name is Trent Coleman and my missing little brother from Michigan was on Clix and Lacy's stream in Miami."
"He was wearing green shorts and they were making fun of him, he is not on drugs he is schizophrenic and he is 17 years old if someone can contact me about this I would be so thankful he has been missing for 3 months and his case was put on hom*cide in Michigan," he further wrote in an email.
Upon receiving this heartbreaking message, Lacy took immediate action. She shared the information across various social media platforms, including X, hoping to reach a wider audience and aid in the search for Troy Coleman.
This incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of social media and the potential for it to play a major role in real-life emergencies. On Thursday, the Flint Township Police Department thanked everyone who shared information about Troy Coleman, the missing teen. They also confirmed that he was found safe in Miami. The police department is now coordinating with local authorities to bring him back safely to Michigan to reunite with his family.
