Mass shooting in US: Multiple people gunned down at nightclub

A mass shooting in the United States has reportedly killed one person and injured three at a gas station on Noe Bixby Road in southeast Columbus Friday morning. According to the reports of 10TV, the incident was called to Sunoco gas station at 2660 Noe Bixby Road by Refugee Road around 2:15 am. Reportedly, a public safety dispatcher informed the media that one person was pronounced dead in the Avalon nightclub in downtown.

The details on a possible suspect and what may have led to the shooting are still awaited. However, it is anticipated that the shooting may have stemmed from a brawl among people at the bar.

According to the recent developments, the Assistant Chief of Police Greg Bodker said that one person was reported dead at 2:45 am. However, other two, who got injured have been taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition and condition of the other person has improved. 

Bodker said preliminary indications led detectives to believe that the shooting stemmed from an altercation. The ages of the victims range between 20s and 40s.
