US Space Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) released a new report on unexplained aerial phenomena (UAPs), previously known as unidentified flying objects or UFOs. The agency announced that it is appointing Mark McInerney as the director for the UAP research in response to a recommendation by an independent study team for NASA to play a more prominent role in understanding UFOs.
This research marks a shift in the study of extraterrestrials for NASA from mere debunking of sightings toward a more serious consideration of these events.
Earlier two “non-human” corpses in Mexico were publicly unveiled at Mexico’s Congress, sparking immense excitement among UFO enthusiasts and the scientific community. During the press conference, NASA officials were also asked about the UFO hearings in Mexico to which they said that that their understanding of these specimens is limited.
David Spergel, the former head of Princeton University’s astrophysics department and the one to lead the UAP report, said he did not know the nature of the samples but urged transparency as most of their knowledge is primarily derived from reports on social media platform X (Twitter).
“This is something that I have only seen on Twitter. When you have unusual things, you want to make the data public,” Mr Spergel said.
He also urged the Mexican government to take the crucial step of making these samples available to the global scientific community.
Two mummified remains of alleged aliens’ bodies were presented at the Mexico Senate by
Mexican journalist and long-time UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan on Tuesday. The two tiny “bodies” displayed in cases, with three fingers on each hand and elongated heads.
Maussan testified under oath that nearly one-third of the DNA in these specimens is “unknown.”He also said that these remains are not from a UFO crash but were uncovered in diatom (algae) mines in Peru.
The bodies had also been carbon-dated by Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM) which concluded them to be about 1,000 years old.
I think there is a clear demonstration that we are dealing with non-human specimens that are not related to any other species in our world and that all possibilities are open for any scientific institution… to investigate it,” Maussan said.
“We are not alone,” he added.
