London: Man murders wife, packs body inside suitcase as young child watches; Video resurfaces

New Delhi: A shocking and tragic incident has emerged from London, where a man has been arrested following the brutal murder of his wife. The horrifying details of the case, which took place in 2023, reveal a series of chilling actions: the suspect strangled his wife, placed her body into a suitcase, and then discarded it in the River Thames. Disturbingly, this gruesome act occurred in the presence of their two-year-old son.

According to police, the victim was identified as Suma Begum, a 24-year-old woman from Bangladesh, was killed by her husband Aminan Rahman during a video call with her boyfriend. Report also suggests that the man meticulously planned and executed the crime, first murdering his wife by strangulation. After her death, he folded her body into a suitcase.

Evidence of heinous crime 

The suitcase, containing the victim's remains, was then thrown into the River Thames, a location chosen to dispose of the evidence.
