A Korean Air Boeing 737 MAX 8 airplane had a problem with its cabin pressure system right after it took off from Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea. The event happened on Flight KE189, which was going to Taichung, Taiwan, on Saturday afternoon, as reported by the New York Post.Decision of Pilot About 50 minutes after takeoff, while the plane was flying over Jeju Island, there was a problem with the pressurization system. The captain chose to go back to Incheon, and the plane landed safely at 7:38 pm. Because of the problem, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 had to rapidly come down from over 30,000 feet to about 9,000 feet, as reported by Yonhap News Agency.Passengers faced problems The fast drop made many of the 125 passengers feel very uncomfortable and caused health problems. Two passengers had nosebleeds, and fifteen others had ear pain and were breathing quickly. One passenger said the sudden drops felt like the G-forces on a fast rollercoaster ride. Thirteen passengers needed medical help, but luckily, no one was seriously hurt as reported. People who were travelling showed concerns and few posted on social media about her frightening experience after a flight hit severe turbulence. The plane suddenly dropped in altitude right after serving meals, creating chaos inside the cabin.The passenger had severe pain in their ears and head and felt dizzy, while children on the plane started crying. The flight attendants acted fast, securing the meal service and giving oxygen masks to the passengers.
