As the Israel-Palestine war intensifies, Khalistani terrorist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun released a new video, threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a Hamas-like attack in India. He also asked PM Modi to learn from the war in Gaza lest a similar “reaction” follows the country.

In the video, Pannun, who is the chief of the banned US-based Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) outfit said “People under illegal occupation from Punjab to Palestine will react. And violence begets violence.”

He further says that a similar “reaction” will take place in India if the country continues to “occupy” Punjab while also adding that the one responsible for the attack will be “India and PM Modi”.

The SFJ chief stressed the terror group’s belief in “ballot and vote” and claimed that the “liberation of Punjab is on the cards”. In the video, Pannun made a shooting gesture towards the camera and said “India, choice is yours. Ballot of bullet.”

Prior to this, an FIR was lodged against Pannun for threatening and promoting enmity ahead of the scheduled India-Pakistan ICC World Cup 2023 match in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This video comes just a few days after this incident. The pre-recorded threat video of him was issued on multiple media platforms, news agency ANI reported quoting Cyber Crime DCP of Ahmedabad, Ajit Rajian.

The message also said that SFJ would take “revenge” for terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijar’s murder in Canada.

Pannun has been under the scanner of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) since 2019 when the probe agency filed its first case against the Khalistani terrorist. The Amritsar-born Khalistani leader has been accused of playing a primary role in promoting and commissioning terror attacks and activities.

He is also held responsible for spreading fear and terror in Punjab and other parts of India via his threats and strategies of intimidation.

Pannun was declared a “Proclaimed Offender” (PO), last year on November 29 by the Special NIA Court after he was issued non-bailable warrants of arrest on February 3, 2021
