Reportedly, the flight was carrying 216 passengers and a crew of 16 members that landed safely.In addition, Patel also said currently they are not aware that how many US citizens were there on the flights and they will be sending a replacement aircraft.Meanwhile, an Air India official said that the planes had developed a technical snag in one of the engines, he further added, “Air India will operate an alternate aircraft from Magadan to San Francisco on June 7, carrying the passengers and crew, who are at present accommodated in local hotels of Magadan. The authorities are extending all cooperation in our effort to ensure that passengers safely reach their destination at the earliest.”
