Continuing the ground assault against Hamas in Gaza, Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant called on the people of the Palestinian authorization to find out and kill Yahya Sinwar, who is the chief of the terror group in Gaza. Gallant said that if they did so "it would shorten the war".

As per the reports from The Times of Israel reports, Israel's Defence Minister's comments came in as the Isreal Defence Force (IDF) uses infantry and tanks to eliminate Hamas terrorists from escaping to tunnels.

Hamas has no limits

Israel's Defence Minister said that Israeli forces were taking Hamas "batallion after batallion" and highlighted they were striking the terror targets in Gaza City. "We will get to Yahya Sinwar and eliminate him. If the residents of Gaza get there ahead of us, that will shorten the war," he said. He added that the terror organization has no limits.

The Israeli minister also said that there would be no more security threats from Gaza when the war ends.

Furthermore, he added, "There will be no more Hamas in Gaza and Israel will have absolute freedom to take whatever security action it seeks against anyone who raises their head in Gaza".

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel for the second time on Friday since the war broke out. While the US Secretary of State said the US backed Israel in its offensive against Hamas, his call for a ceasefire was rejected by Netanyahu.
