New Delhi: Iran has carried out the execution of four individuals accused of involvement in a bombing plot targeting a factory under Iran's Ministry of Defence based in Isfahan. The operation, purportedly orchestrated by Israel's Mossad, aimed to disrupt Iranian operations, according to Iranian state media reports.

The executed individuals were convicted of illegally entering Iranian territory from Iraq's Kurdistan region with the intention of conducting a bombing operation. The target was identified as a facility producing equipment vital to Iran's Ministry of Defence. Iranian authorities claim that the plot was thwarted by Iranian intelligence before it could be carried out.
