The White House said that Hezbollah should not try to take advantage from the Israel-Hamas conflict. This came after Nasrallah, who heads the Iran-backed militant organization, stated that Hezbollah is not afraid of US warships and 'all options' are on the table regarding the conflict's potential extension into Lebanon.

Addresing his first speech amid the conflict, Nasrallah laid blame on the United States for the Gaza war. He said that Washington plays a pivotal role in averting a broader regional conflict by ceasing attacks on the Palestinian territory.

Nasrallah warns US

Nasrallah said, "America is entirely responsible for the ongoing war on Gaza and its people, and Israel is simply a tool of execution," characterizing the conflict as "decisive." He asked the United States to swiftly halt the aggression on Gaza if it wanted to prevent a regional war.

Furthermore he accused the United States of hindering a ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities. During his speech, which was widely anticipated and broadcast from Beirut's southern suburbs, a stronghold for Hezbollah, Nasrallah issued a warning to Israel, cautioning against any attacks on Lebanon and asserting that "all options are open on our Lebanese front."

The cross-border clashes have resulted in casualties on both sides killing 72 people on the Lebanese side, including at least 54 Hezbollah fighters, as well as civilians. On the Israeli hand, at least six soldiers and one civilian have lost their lives, according to the Israeli army.
