Is China Plotting Something Big? Repeated Sightings of Aircraft and Naval Forces Near Taiwan!

Is China threatening its enemy country Taiwan or is it planning something big against it? These questions are being raised because a statement from Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense said that as of 6 am (local time) on Friday, Taiwan has detected the flights of 18 Chinese aircraft and the operations of seven Chinese ships. According to the MND, 13 of the 18 flights crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's southwestern ADIZ.

The statement also said that '18 flights of PLA aircraft and 7 PLA ships operating around Taiwan were observed as of 6 am (UTC+8) today. Of the 18 flights, 13 crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's southwestern ADIZ. 

Taiwan observed 27 flights of Chinese aircraft, six Chinese ships and one Chinese balloon as of 6 am (local time), a statement from Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense said. According to the MND, 20 of the 27 flights crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's southwestern ADIZ.

In a post on X, Taiwan's MND said, '27 flights of PLA aircraft and 6 PLAN ships operating around Taiwan were observed as of 6 AM (UTC+8) today. Of the 27 flights, 20 crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's southwestern ADIZ. 1 PRC balloon was observed during this time period.'

The official stressed that Washington's long-term commitment to Taiwan remains the same as it has for 45 years and that the US will 'continue to support Taiwan in response to China's military, economic, information and diplomatic pressure.'
