Iraqi forces kill senior ISIS leader: On October 14, Iraqi Security Forces (ISF), in coordination with the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR), carried out targeted airstrikes in Northeastern Iraq that successfully eliminated four ISIS members, including a senior leader. The strike, aimed at disrupting ISIS networks in Iraq, was supported by intelligence and technical assistance from coalition forces.The senior ISIS official killed in the strike, Shahadhah Allawi Salih Ulaywi al-Bajjari, also known as Abu Issa, was regarded as the Wali of Kirkuk, the highest-ranking ISIS leader in Northern Iraq.
