The Vishwa Hindu Parishad's America chapter, along with Hindus nationwide, have erected over 40 billboards across 10+ states showcasing the grand consecration event at Shri Ram Lalla's birthplace in Ayodhya.

Billboards are already displayed in Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Georgia, among other states. Arizona and Missouri will join the visual celebration starting Monday, January 16th, per the VHP.

US envoy on Ramayan & Ram Mandir

Last Wednesday, Indian Ambassador to the U.S. Taranjit Singh Sandhu said the Ramayan bridges geographies and teaches complex human relationships and the eternal struggle between good and evil.

Speaking at a "Ramayana Across Asia and Beyond" event at the U.S. Capitol, Sandhu said the epic's lessons and tales pass through generations seemingly "as if one was born with them." He said the Ramayan offers insights into relationships, governance, spirituality, duty, justice, sacrifice, loyalty and the perpetual good versus evil struggle.

"The Ramayan is also a bridge across geographies. Stories from the epic are well known in many Indo-Pacific countries, from Cambodia to Indonesia, Thailand to Laos," Sandhu added. "I have personally witnessed this cross-boundary influence."

The grand Ayodhya celebrations aim to honor the Ramayan's cultural importance for Hindus worldwide. Devotees hope the ceremonies will imbue spiritual blessings headed into 2023.
