Anju wants to return to India: Pakistani husband Nasrullah

The 34-year-old woman, now known as Fatima, has been living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan since July. Some Pakistani media said that she had converted to Islam and married her Facebook friend, Nasrullah.

In a phone interview with news agency PTI, Nasrullah revealed that his wife is ‘mentally disturbed and badly missing’ her children.

“She is mentally disturbed and badly missing her children and she had no other option except to go back,” said Anju’s husband.

‘Missing her two kids’

Expressing concern over her mental health, he said that it would be better for her to return to India to be with her children. Anju has two children, a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.

He then explained that once the necessary documentation process is completed in Pakistan, Anju will return to India to meet her kids. Nasrullah also mentioned that he might accompany her if he is granted a visa.

Who is Anju?

Anju, an India-origin from Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi district and also married with two children, travelled all the way to Pakistan to meet her Facebook lover in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

In India, Anju told her husband Arvind that she was going to Jaipur for a few days. However, her husband later came to know via the media that she had gone across the border.
