Humanitarian aid to Ukraine: In a compassionate move amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict, India extends its humanitarian support by delivering the 15th consignment to Ukraine. The latest offering includes ten 30 Ifl/A generators, reinforcing India's commitment to assisting Ukraine during challenging times.

A Helping Hand Extended

Indian envoy to Ukraine, Harsh Kumar Jain, officially presented the consignment to Mataliya Liska, Director of the "Kryla Nadiyi" Charitable Fund. The event took place in the presence of Maksym Kozytskyy, Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration. The generators, a vital contribution, are designated for eight educational institutions in the Lviv region, offering support to their educational activities.

Gratitude Expressed by Ukraine

The Ukrainian Embassy expressed deep gratitude for India's consistent humanitarian aid, acknowledging the Government of India's human-centric approach. The statement highlights the commitment of India to providing ongoing support to the Ukrainian people amidst the challenging period of Russian aggression.

This marks the 15th consignment, building upon India's unwavering support to Ukraine. The generosity extends beyond this latest delivery, with India previously handing over essential medicines in the 14th consignment during August. The Deputy Minister of Health in Ukraine, Ihor Kuzin, received the aid, expressing gratitude for India's assistance.

In a display of diplomatic cooperation, India and Ukraine engaged in the ninth round of the India-Ukraine Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) in Kyiv. MEA Secretary (West) Sanjay Verma co-chaired the session with Ukraine's First Deputy Minister of Foreign Ministry Emine Dzhaparova. Discussions encompassed bilateral ties, insights into the ongoing conflict, and collaborative efforts towards peace.

Global and Multilateral Engagement

The FOC meeting facilitated a comprehensive review of bilateral relations and enabled the exchange of perspectives on the unfolding conflict and peace initiatives.
