One of the UK's top adult stars, Yasmina Khan, popularly known as the "Bengali Goddess," has opened up about her severe medical condition that causes her unbearable pain during and after nearly every adult shoot. The revelation has sparked discussions about health challenges in the industry.

Health struggles exposed

A few months ago, Yasmina took to Instagram to disclose that she suffers from multiple medical conditions that make her work excruciatingly painful. When a fan asked whether she enjoys participating in adult content or experiences any discomfort, she candidly responded, saying, "I have a tilted cervix and a condition called adenomyosis, which makes intercourse painful almost 80% of the time. Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do to stop it. It’s frustrating because I enjoy it, but then the pain hits like a ‘hello.’”

The onset of painful symptoms

In an interview with the Daily Star, Yasmina shared details about when her health issues first became noticeable. “About four or five years ago, I was diagnosed with endometriosis. It causes abdominal pain, mood swings, and bloating. I’ve had issues in that area my entire life. I started my periods at a very young age, around nine or ten, which was quite unusual,” she revealed.

She further added, “I was always in pain, but doctors and my mother told me to learn to deal with it without realizing I had a serious condition. Five years ago, I underwent keyhole surgery to determine what was happening, and that’s when they found endometriosis.”

No permanent cure in sight

"They burned the affected tissue during surgery, but it keeps coming back. A few months later, my condition worsened—I started developing ovarian cysts, and every time I engaged in intercourse, I experienced pain during and after. When I consulted doctors again, they told me there was nothing they could do."

Her revelations have shed light on the struggles many women face with reproductive health conditions that often go undiagnosed or untreated for years.
