Horror continues in US: Indian-origin teen found dead after going missing

The horrific incidents of Indian people losing their lives continue in the United States. After Mohammed Abdul Arfath, another Indian-American student who went missing earlier Tuesday was later found dead. The rising deaths of Indians have sparked concern amid the growing list of missing individuals in the US.

According to the update from Frisco Police, “A 17-year-old girl, named Ishika Thakore, left her house on Monday night and hasn't been seen since.” They later posted on the official social media handle about her demise. The message reads, “LOCATED - The 17-year-old who was the subject of our Critical Missing Alert from earlier today has been located. We'd like to thank everyone for the offers of assistance and words of support.”

Ishika was last seen in Frisco, Texas, on Monday, April 8th, around 11:30 pm, according to an early police statement. Wearing red-and-green pajama trousers and a black long-sleeve shirt, she left her house on Brownwood Drive. According to the police statement, "she is around 5'4" and 175 lbs. She was last seen wearing red/green pajama pants and a black long-sleeve t-shirt."

This tragedy brings the number of Indian-Americans who have lately been reported missing or who have inexplicably passed away across the nation to an ever-growing number.
