Hezbollah loses contact with Nasrallah’s successor, Israel claims killing 400 in Lebanon

Hezbollah loses Nasrallah's successor: Security sources in Lebanon have confirmed that contact has been lost with Hashem Safieddine, who is considered the likely successor to the assassinated Hezbollah leader, Hassan Nasrallah. This development comes after an Israeli airstrike targeted an underground facility in Beirut. The facility was believed to house key Hezbollah personnel.

Reports also indicate that high-ranking officers from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were present at the location during the attack. Among them is suspected to be Ismail Qaani, Brigadier General of the IRGC and commander of its Quds Force.

Israel planning major response to Iranian missile attack

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are preparing a "serious and significant" retaliation for a recent missile attack launched by Iran. The assault involved the firing of approximately 200 ballistic missiles aimed at Israeli targets.

Despite damage to several airbases, Israel reports that no critical infrastructure or aircraft were compromised during the strike.
