This development comes after an Israeli airstrike targeted an underground facility in Beirut. The facility was believed to house key Hezbollah personnel.

Reports also indicate that high-ranking officers from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were present at the location during the attack. Among them is suspected to be Ismail Qaani, Brigadier General of the IRGC and commander of its Quds Force.
