Terrorist Hafiz Saeed, founder of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, has been admitted to Mayo Hospital Lahore after complaining of food poisioning. According to media reports, he is currently in ICU. The news related to poisioning is getting viral on social media platform 'X.'
Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, is a Pakistani Islamist who co-founded Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a Pakistan-based Islamist militant organization. He was found guilty of terrorism-related charges. He founded the group that committed the Mumbai attack in 2008, killing more than 160 people. Recently there were reports that the Government of India had asked the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan to hand over the Indian criminal i.e. Hafiz Saeed to us. Hafiz Saeed has been found involved in terrorist incidents not only in India but in many other countries.
Hafiz Saeed was born in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan to a Punjabi-Muslim family. He was named Hafiz because he memorized the Quran during his childhood, a time during which he was already enthusiastic about the verses on jihad. He then attended the Government College Sargodha before getting a Master's in Islamic Studies at King Saud University in Riyadh.
