A group of senior Gabonese military officers on Wednesday announced that the they had seized power in the country as the recent general elections in the country lacked credibility. According to the sources, the officer claimed to represent all security and defence forces of Gabon made the announcement through national television.The reports also claimed that they had cancelled all the elections after dissolving all state institutions and closing the countrys borders.
