French President Emmanual Macron came to India as the Chief Guest for the 75th Republic Day Celebration this week. During his visit, the French President and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held bilateral talks in New Delhi where the two leaders talked about issues ranging from climate change, defense, and marine partnership between the two countries to India’s permanent seat in the UN Security Council.

With a target of 2030, he said that by the end of this decade, 30,000 Indian students will be in France.
