In the latest update, six children and two adults have been injured in a knife attack in the picturesque town of Annecy in the French Alps. As per sources, at least three of the victims are in critical condition in hospital.According to the official sources, the incident happened at about 9.45 am, a man armed with a knife entered a childrens playground near the towns famous lake and attacked a group of children aged about three years old as they played.The French president, Emmanuel Macron, tweeted that it was an act of “absolute cowardice” and the nation was in shock. He mentioned, “Attack of absolute cowardice this morning in a park in Annecy. Children and an adult are between life and death. The Nation is in shock.
