Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan arrested 

Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan and the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is said to have been arrested on Tuesday for alleged corruption. According to Pakistani media reports, Imran Khan was arrested outside an Islamabad courthouse.

An Islamabad police spokesman tweeted that Imran Khan has been arrested in connection with a corruption investigation involving the Qadir Trust. Fawad Chaudhry, Imran Khan’s aide, mentioned that Imran Khan’s car was surrounded when he was taken into custody.
