Following the directions of the Islamabad Court, police may arrest the former prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan today. According to the information, Islamabad police will visit Zaman Park with in 24 hours to arrest him. Notably, the directives have been issued against Imran Khan as he has threatened a female judge belonging to a court in the federal capital. The next 24 hours could be critical for Imran Khan as Islamabad police have reached Lahore to arrest him after the non-bailable warrant against him for threatening a female judge.

Reportedly, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has led a march of his thousands of supporters after the Islamabad police has issued two non-bailable warrant against him.

 According to the reports, Khan has left his Zaman Park residence as Islamabad police arrived in Lahore on a special helicopter to arrest the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief after two non-bailable arrest warrants were issued against him for failing to appear in courts in the Toshakhana case and for threatening a female judge while addressing a public gathering last year. it is also said that the Lahore district administration has met the party’s leaders to discuss the route of the rally. However, the condition was imposed that no leader will give any statement on judiciary or any other institution.

Imran Khan also announced that he will lead a election rally on Sunday in Lahore and urged his supporters and party workers to participate in the same. Soon after he made his statement, the local government in the provincial capital enforced Section 144 and prohibited public gatherings, citing worries following a Pakistan Super League (PSL) cricket match in the city.

According to the sources, during the meeting it has been decided that Islamabad police will be completely supported and instructed the police that they should reach his Zaman Park residence with no hindrances. Two courts have issued separate non-bailable warrants against him in two different cases. In which he has not reported in any of the one, instead he announced a ‘historic’ rally in Lahore on Sunday. The Islamabad court earlier also has reserved the verdict on the petition filed by Imran Khan seeking an exemption from the hearing of the case. the district and the session court has also restored the former PM Imran Khan’s non-bailable warrant against him in the Toshakhana case.

Imran Khan’s power show at Lahore

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, Imran Khan has despite of getting the non-bailable warrant against him, he has planned a public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on Sunday March 19. He has called this a historic power show. And urged the people and workers to come out for the accountability of the thieves and said, “We all have to struggle together.”

Reportedly, Imran Khan also led election rally near Data Darbar in a bullet proof car in Lahore. While addressing the rally, he made the announcement that “I will hold a jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday, March 19, at 2 pm.” He conducted the rally on Monday despite of being ousted from power via a no-confidence motion in National Assembly, April last year.

Moreover, the name of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, former chiefs Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Yousaf Raza Gillani, Ex-finance minister Sartaj Aziz, former president Pervez Musharraf, finance minister Ishaq Dar and other name are also included in the list.

It should be noted that under the directions issued by the Islamabad Court, police are instructed to present him before the court prior to his rally at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore.
