New Delhi: President Emmanuel Macron said that the far-right and far-left parties in Frances upcoming legislative elections are causing division among the people on Monday evening. He warned that these extreme parties could even lead to a civil war, during an interview on the Generation Do It Yourself podcast. Macron stated that the far-right National Rallys plan to handle crime and insecurity targets people based on their religion and origin. He warned that this approach divides people and could lead to a civil war. Macron also mentioned that the far-left France Unbowed, which is a part of a quickly formed alliance is also promoting divisive politics that could lead to similar conflicts.
