One of the most sought-after international visits of Modi, the US visit is talk of the town everywhere. During his three-day visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be meeting several distinguished people. On the day one, on Tuesday, he met Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk.
Speaking at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel, Musk said, “I am incredibly excited about the future of India. I think India has more promise than any large country in the world. I can say Modi really wants to do the right thing for India. He wants to be open and supportive of new companies. I am a fan of Modi,” he added. Describing his meeting with PM Modi, the Tesla CEO said the conversation was “excellent”.

PM Modi will be in the US from June 21-24. He is invited by US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. Modi is likely to meet over two dozen thought leaders from various walks of life, including Nobel laureates, economists, artists, scientists, scholars, entrepreneurs, academicians and health sector experts.
