Former President Donald Trump has plans to turn himself in and be processed at the Fulton Count jail in US’s Georgia on Thursday, said media reports.

Donald Trump plans to surrender this Thursday

According to reports, the date was set during negotiations with the Fulton County district attorney’s office on Monday over his consent bond and release conditions.

Last week, a 98-page Georgia indictment revealed that Donald Trump and 18 other defendants were charged with 41 criminal cases in liked with efforts to overturn Trump’s loss in the 2020 general elections.

On Monday, Donald Trump faced a $200,000 bond and orders not to send threatening social media messages as the former U.S. president awaits trial in Georgia on charges of trying to overturn his 2020 election loss, a court filing stated.

The document also set out the release terms including restrictions on intimidating witnesses and obstructing justice.

Notably, this document is a bond agreement by Trump’s attorneys and Fulton Country District Attorney Fani Willis.

Friday is ultimatum, whether surrender or face arrest: Willis

On August 14, Trump with his co-defendants were indicted, meanwhile, Willis gave them until Friday at noon to surrender or face arrest.

Prosecutors in the case have proposed that the trial starts on March 4, while Trump’s lawyers have asked for a 2026 trial.

The reports of Trump’s surrender come after the first Republican primary presidential debate that he does not plan to attend.
