In the ongoing civil fraud lawsuit civil fraud lawsuit, Former US president Donald Trump has won a temporary respite.
This Friday, a New York court has granted the former president a delay in cancelling his licenses to operate his businesses in the state.

On Wednesday, an appeal was presented before the New York court to halt the trial of Former US president Donald Trump’s civil fraud lawsuit. The hearing began on Monday held without the presence of a jury on board, a surprise ruling is set by judge Arthur Engoron that late last month that there had been multiple frauds by the Trump Organization, and even ordering the cancellation of the business license of Trump and his two sons Don Jr and Eric.

On Friday, in a ruling at the New York appeals court, judge Peter Moulton refused to suspend the former US president Donald Trump’s trial but also ruled that a stay was granted on the “order directing the cancellation of business certificates.”

This ruling marked a temporary win for the former president, who is currently facing a partial dismantling of his real estate empire after the past decision of Judge Engoron’s in September.
