Ameer Balaj Tipu, a significant figure in Lahore's underworld and the proprietor of a goods transport network, met a tragic end when he was fatally shot during a wedding ceremony in the Chung area on February 18, according to reports from a private TV channel as cited by Dawn.
Ameer, the son of Arif Amir, also known as Tipu Truckanwala, faced a similar fate in 2010 when he was attacked at the Allama Iqbal airport. The lineage of violence in Ameer's family extends back to his grandfather.

The assailant, yet to be identified, targeted Ameer along with two other guests, inflicting critical injuries. In response, Ameer's armed associates retaliated swiftly, resulting in the immediate demise of the attacker. Despite efforts to save him, Ameer succumbed to his injuries at Jinnah Hospital.
Law enforcement authorities swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident. Their primary objective is to ascertain the motive behind the attack and apprehend the perpetrator(s). As of now, no arrests have been made, as per the latest reports.
Ameer Balaj Tipu was widely revered as one of the most influential and feared individuals in Lahore's underworld.
