International News: Britain is going to take a very shocking and bold step amid the increasing dangers of global warming. It is reported that the British government is going to allow scientists to reduce sunlight in a few weeks. For this, the government has prepared a budget of 50 million pounds (about Rs 500 crore). However, scientists and experts have mixed opinions about this scheme-some consider it to be a miraculous measure, some consider it to be dangerous and full of unexpected consequences.

How will it be used to reduce sunlight?

The team of scientists is working on a new technology, in which they will release aerosols in the air. These particles will go to the upper layer of the Earth, so that some rays of the sun do not reach the Earth. This will reduce the temperature of the earth to some extent.

In addition, there is another way - making the clouds even more shiny. With this, clouds will be able to send more sunlight back into space and the effect of heat on Earth will be reduced.

What can be its danger?

Although this plan seems very attractive to hear, its dangers cannot be ignored. Scientists say that this experiment can cause disturbances in the natural cycle of season. This can lead to changes in rain patterns, intensity of storms and may also cause drought in some areas. Apart from this, if this technique does not function properly, it can also have a very serious effect on the environment.

Who is doing this research?

This research is being provided financial assistance by Britain's Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA). ARIA has kept a 50 million pound budget for Geo-Engineering Research. The agency's program director, Professor Mark Syms said that he would do this research in a completely safe manner. He says that this experiment will be done only when it can be completely reversed and there is no harm to the environment.

There may be a big change in 10 years

If these initial experiments get success, scientists believe that this technique can be applied on a large scale in the next 10 years. This means that the largest weapon to deal with global warming in future can be the technique of controlling the sun rays.
