Pennsylvania McDonald's visit as a campaign strategy

The former president’s McDonald's visit in Pennsylvania was part of his campaign strategy aimed at contrasting himself with Vice President Kamala Harris. Dressed in an apron, Trump worked behind the counter, serving food to customers and working the french fry station. Trump used the opportunity to take a jab at Harris, saying, “I've now worked 15 minutes more than she ever did,” referring to her claims of working at McDonald's as a youth.

“She lied about McDonald's,” Trump alleged. “I've worked here for 15 minutes, which is 15 minutes more than she worked here. Has that proven that she never worked at McDonald's?” Trump continued, adding that the store manager had no records of Harris ever working there. Trump’s unconventional campaign methods continue to draw media attention and spark public discourse, bolstering his strategy to connect with his base.
