New Delhi: A tragic incident unfolded in Khulna, Bangladesh, where a young boy named Utshab Mandal was brutally beaten by a mob on Wednesday night for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The attack occurred in Shondanga, after news spread that the boy had made derogatory remarks about the Prophet on social media. The mob, reportedly fueled by anger, severely injured Utshab, sparking widespread outrage in the area.

Initially, Utshab was taken to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South Office by local students. Soon after, a large crowd gathered outside, demanding that the boy be handed over to them for his alleged blasphemy. Despite efforts from police, army, and navy personnel to calm the mob and ensure his safety, Utshab was dragged away and violently assaulted.
