New Delhi: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has officially resigned from her position and has been evacuated from her official residence in Dhaka. She was transported via an army helicopter to an undisclosed location following the eruption of large-scale protests in the city.

Numerous reports indicate that Hindu houses are being targeted. The severity of the situation is underscored by several instances of lynching that have already taken place.
