In a shocking incident, an Air India cabin crew member was reportedly assaulted by an intruder at a London hotel earlier this week. The attack occurred late Thursday night at the Radisson Red Hotel near Londons Heathrow Airport, leaving the crew member bruised and shaken.According to the sources, the assault took place shortly after midnight when multiple Air India flight crew members were staying at the Radisson Red Hotel. According to an unnamed source quoted by The Times of India, the intruder entered the crew members room around 1:30 am. while she was asleep. Startled by the intrusion, she awoke and immediately screamed for help. The attacker, armed with a clothes hanger, launched a vicious assault, dragging her across the floor as she desperately tried to reach the door.“She suffered significant bruises as she struggled to escape,” the source revealed. Despite her injuries, she managed to alert other crew members, who quickly summoned the police. The intruder was apprehended on the scene and handed over to law enforcement authorities. The victim was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is now on her way back to Mumbai.Meanwhile the incident has sparked an online debate talking about serious concerns about the safety measures in place for airline crew members, particularly when staying in hotels located in less secure areas.
