A devastating incident has come to light where an American Airlines Flight 590, departing from Tampa, Florida, narrowly avoided disaster after multiple tyres blew out during takeoff. As the plane picked up speed and was moments away from liftoff, the tyres burst, prompting the pilot to slam on the brakes. The aircraft, a Boeing 737, hurtled towards the end of the runway but managed to come to a halt safely.

Reportedly, no injuries were reported among the 176 passengers and six crew members on board, who were able to "safely de-plane." The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the takeoff was aborted after the crew reported the tyre blowouts.

The incident underscores the critical importance of pilot training and quick response in ensuring passenger safety during emergencies. According to the sources, the FAA is likely to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the tyre failures and to prevent future occurrences.

Meanwhile, passengers praised the crew's professionalism and calm handling of the emergency, highlighting the effectiveness of emergency protocols in aviation safety.

It is not the first such event that has been reported, recently, on July 8, a United Airlines Boeing 757-200 encountered a significant mechanical failure when a wheel reportedly detached from the aircraft shortly after takeoff. An alarming video shared by RadarBox captured the moment the tyre came loose from the plane's undercarriage and plummeted to the ground seconds after departing Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) en route to Denver.

Despite the incident, the flight safely landed in Denver after three hours, with no injuries reported from the crew members.
