Multiple civilian flight vehicles breached airspace near US President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida thus activating F-16 fighter jets from NORAD operation. Daily Mail provided an official statement that revealed F-16 fighter jets launched flares during the incident when three civilian planes received security escort out of the restricted area.
The violation of airspace took place at 11:05 a.m., 12:10 p.m., and 12:50 p.m. as per the report. Palm Beach airspace intrusion by three planes remained unclear because this type of violation has become increasingly common in recent weeks. Palm Beach Post reported that Airspace violations occurred three times above the city when Trump stayed at Mar-a-Lago that month.
Airspace intrusions happened twice on February 15 and once on the national holiday of February 17. Fighter jets from the F-16 fleet responded to airspace violations that happened above Wellington which is found farther from the coast. On February 18 according to NORAD another civilian aircraft entered the Palm Beach airspace. The fighter jets employed flares which function with absolute safety standards while burning out fast and finishing their operation without affecting people below.
Irish Star reported that Trump reached his resort after F-16 jets performed a safe nudge of his aircraft from airspace. Trump confirmed the FBI recovered all classified boxes which they had taken from Mar-a-Lago property Trump stated to reporters that FBI-recovered classified boxes from his Mar-a-Lago residence following the 2022 investigation remain in his possession until his planned presidential library display.
