Soon after getting the information about the heinous crime, police arrested the accused father.The accused has been identified as Tayyab, who confessed to this grievous deed, citing financial reasons that prevented him from affording the medical treatment for his ailing daughter. Tayyab confessed to placing the newborn in a sack before burying her.Police have registered an official case against him, as he admitted to the crime. Meanwhile, the authorities have indicated that the childs grave will be opened for forensic examination and will carry a postmortem procedure for the same. Meanwhile, it is important to note that this is not the only incident that has been reported from Pakistan, another such horrific incident was reported a couple of days back in which an 8-year-old Hindu girl was abducted and brutally raped by a Muslim man. The incident came to light when it surfaced on social media, with a video of parents asking for justice to the girl.
