India and Ukraine recently engaged in bilateral talks, focusing on the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is on a two-day trip to India. The majority of the discussions centered around finding peaceful solutions to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, welcomed Kuleba at Hyderabad House for the meeting. The ministers discussed various initiatives to address the conflict and exchanged views on global and regional issues of mutual interest. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Ahead of his visit, Kuleba expressed his intention to strengthen ties between Ukraine and India. He highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two nations and emphasized focusing on the Peace Formula, a proposal aimed at securing lasting peace in Ukraine.

During a press briefing, the MEA spokesperson mentioned that the foreign ministers would engage in discussions covering bilateral relations, review previous inter-governmental commissions, and address regional and global concerns. India reiterated its stance on advocating for a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine-Russia conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
