Two Indian nationals died in a tragic cylinder explosion incident in Maldives on Sunday. The Indian High Commission expressed its sorrow on the death of the two Indians on Haa Dhaal Makunudhoo island in Maldives. The High Commission is also in touch with the authorities of Maldives and the families of the victims.

The Indian High Commission took to ‘X’ to condole the untimely death of the two individuals and wrote “We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident on Haa Dhaal Makunudhoo island in which two Indian nationals have lost their lives. High Commission is in close contact with Maldivian authorities as well as the families of the victims."

Maldives gas explosion incident

A gas explosion took place in Haa Dhaal Makunudhoo island in Maldives that killed two people, according to media reports. They also stated that the incident took place when a gas cylinder near the fish market exploded. The victims were identified as two foreign men and both worked as an employee in a company engaged in land reclamation work for Makunudhoo Airport.
