‘Wore Purity Ring But Asked For Nudes’: Former Nickelodeon Star Accuses Joe Jonas

American musician Joe Jonas has been in the news nonstop lately,f ollowing the announcement of his divorce from Sophie Turner, The singer-songwriter, who is also Nick Jonas’ brother, is currently being accused of pestering Alexa Nikolas, a former Nickelodeon star, for nude images when she was a teenager.

Nikolas shared a post on X(Twitter) where is put out the information bout Joe’s teenage years. According to her Joe Jonas was not as innocent as he seemed, she says.

“I met Joe Jonas when we were teens and let’s just say he’s the guy who wore a purity ring but asked for nudes💀,” she wrote.

This information was released concurrently with the singer’s divorce from Sophie Turner, the “Game of Thrones” actress who portrayed Sansa Stark.

Nikolas is not the only one who has hinted that Joe was sexually active despite wearing the purity ring in his teenage years. The now 34-year-old — along with his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas — famously wore a purity ring when he first stepped into the limelight. This became a big talking point about the band for years to come. The rings symbolized their commitment to abstain from sex until marriage.

They later confessed in 2013 to having removed the rings and admitted to having lost their virginity. Jonas has previously acknowledged that he was sexually active before marriage. Nikolas’s claim isn’t the first insinuation of Jonas’s sexual activity despite the purity ring. 

Previously in 2021, during the “Jonas Brothers Family Roast”, Sophie Turner joked that her husband was not just playing with his ring, but also with his co-stars, actresses, and supermodels.

During the roast the singer’s soon-to-be ex-wife joked that he “wasn’t just sticking his fingers in some dumb metal rings. He was sticking his fingers in co-stars, actresses, and even a supermodel or two,” Turner joked, adding that “the rings weren’t a good idea.”

Turner and Jonas, who began dating in 2016, got married in 2019. They have two children together. However, they announced their divorce earlier this week, shocking their fans and friends.

Speculations around the reasons for the divorce are rife. Others suggest that differing lifestyles and Jonas’s lack of support for Turner following the birth of their second child led to the split. Some sources claimed that the 34-year-old singer found evidence of Turner’s infidelity on their Ring doorbell camera, Jonas also allegedly pressured Turner to attend more industry events against her comfort.
