New Delhi: BJP MP Tejasvi Surya is all set to tie the knot with a Carnatic Singer Sivasri Skandarasad. Sivasri is a popular classical singer and is based out of Chennai. However, the duo has not made any official statement about their wedding, but some media reports say that they are going to tie the knot in the next 2-3 months.
As soon as the news of the BJP MP Tejasvi Surya's wedding was doing the rounds in the social media, the internet was quick to react and many users wanted to explore more about the woman the BJP MP is about to marry. Sivasri had sung many songs and received a lot of praise from the audience including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
However, some media reports also say that the duo will the knot on March 4th, 2025 in a lavish ceremony in Bengaluru
Who is Sivasri Skandarasad?
Tejasvi Surya's bride-to-be holds a Masters Degree in Bharatnatyam from Chennai University. She has also done Bioengineering from Sastra University. Apart from this, Sivasri also holds Masters degree in Sanskrit from Madras Sanskrit College.
Sivasri has performed in many events in Chennai and across India. Indian Prime Minister also shower praises on her song she sang in the year 2014.
While praising her song, the Prime Minister said This rendition by Sivasri Skandaprasad in Kannada beautifully highlights the spirit of devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram. Such efforts go a long way in preserving our rich cultural heritage.
She also has a Youtube Channel and enjoys a massive fan following.Svasri also sang a song in Mani Ratnam's film 'Helhe Neenu'.
Meanwhile Tejasvi Surya who is currently a member of Parliament in the Bengaluru South Constituency is also a lawyer by profession.
