Another Bollywood remake song is out. This time, it’s a remark on Coke Studio Pakistan’s chartbuster song ‘Pasoori’. Yes, it happening. Titled ‘Pasoori Nu,’ was released today (June 26), just a day after the filmmakers unveiled the teaser of the song. The famous Coke Studio creation is originally sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, while the remake is done by Aashiqui 2 singers, Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar. The original version has reached a milestone of 600 million views with almost 7.2 million likes. It will be interesting to see how much love the remake song ‘Pasoori Nu’ will get.
This song is from Sameer Vidwans’ directorial film Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
Sharing the video of the recreated song ‘Pasoori Nu’ from Satyaprem Ki Katha’ on social media, the filmmakers wrote, “Presenting the song Pasoori Nu from the movie Satyaprem
Ki Katha. Relive the Global Hit! Kartik Aaryan as Satyaprem and Kiara Advani as Katha.”
Taking notes from the remake version, the chorus of the song was kept the same as the original version, while the makers concentrated on including Hindi into it as its core song was in Punjabi and Urdu. The music is by Rochak Kohli and Ali Sethi and the lyrics are written by Gurpreet Saini and Ali Sethi.
However, the netizens looked unhappy with the remake version of one of the most listened-to songs of 2022. One of the netizens took it to Twitter and wrote, “T-Series finished destroying all Indian songs. Now they are destroying Pakistani songs too.”
After the netizens’ reaction was becoming a bombshell to the remake version, fans of Arijit Singh stood for him, saying that they like the song.
One of Arijit’s fans wrote, “Arijit Singh always does God level stuffs.”
