Mumbai: Pictures from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s garba night celebrations are taking social media by storm where the whole of Bollywood and biggies of every industry are showing up in the ceremonies. It is just another of showcase the vibrant pre-wedding event organized by Radhika’s family on July 9. The celebration, attended by close friends, featured lively decorations, music, dance, and traditional cuisine. 

Radhika wore a purple lehenga choli paired with diamonds and a neatly styled hair bun adorned with flowers. Anant sported a pink kurta set and an embellished jacket designed by Rahul Mishra. The wedding festivities for Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son began with an intimate puja at their Mumbai residence, Antilia, on June 29. This was followed by pre-wedding rituals such as the ‘mameru’ ceremony, sangeet, haldi, and mehendi.

Date is set

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to marry on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Their wedding will span three days, including the 'Shubh Vivaah' on July 12, 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13, and 'Mangal Utsav' or the wedding reception on July 14.

Pre-wedding festivities

The first pre-wedding celebration took place in Jamnagar, Gujarat, in March. This grand event, attended by 1,200 guests, featured choreographed Bollywood-style dancing, fireworks, and a lavish feast with 500 dishes prepared by around 100 chefs. Notably, Rihanna performed for only the second time in six years at this evening event.

For the second pre-wedding celebration, the Ambanis embarked on a four-day European cruise on a luxury chartered ship, starting in Palermo, Sicily, and ending in Rome. The festivities included a masquerade ball at the Chateau de la Croix des Gardes mansion in Cannes, where Katy Perry performed. The wedding itself featured performances by the Backstreet Boys and Pitbull.
