THIS Panchayat 3 actress files Rs 2 crore defamation case against Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Actress Sunita Rajwar has reportedly sued the actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for defamation, asking for Rs 2 crore. Nawaz responded with a counter notice, calling her case a "cheap publicity stunt" and saying that the Sunita mentioned in his memoir is a different person.

New Delhi: Panchayat 3 actress Sunita Rajwar was reportedly Nawazuddin Siddiqui's first girlfriend. They fell in love during a play at the National School of Drama (NSD). Sunita Rajwar is enjoying the success of her latest web series featured on Amazon Prime, Panchayat 3, starring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav. She is being praised for her role as Kranti Devi, Bhushan's wife.

A 1997 graduate of the National School of Drama (NSD). She has played many memorable roles in movies like Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Bala and Stree. She dated Nawazuddin Siddiqui during their NSD days but their breakup has stirred a controversy years later. 

Relationship of Sunita Rajwar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Sunita was reportedly Nawazuddin's first girlfriend. They fell in love during a play at NSD but broke up after a year and a half. A big controversy started when Nawazuddin released his memoir, An Ordinary Life, where he said Sunita broke up with him because he was poor. He shared that this affected him deeply, making him think about ending his life.

In 2017, Sunita wrote a long note on Facebook denying Nawazuddin's claims about their breakup. She wrote, "I did not leave Nawazuddin because of money. There were many other reasons." She further added, "You know very well that our relationship started with a play and ended before just three shows of that play because your true nature came out."

Sunita Rajwar filed Rs 2 crore defamation against Nawazuddin 

Actress Sunita Rajwar has reportedly sued the actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for defamation, asking for Rs 2 crore. Nawaz responded with a counter notice, calling her case a "cheap publicity stunt" and saying that the Sunita mentioned in his memoir is a different person. The actress, however, disagreed, stating that the evidence in his memoir shows that it is actually about her.
