The new album which will be released under Suga’s other moniker, Agust D, just like those mixtapes released in 2016 and 2aa020, respectively. According to the important announcement on the fan community platform Weverse, D-Day will conclude the trilogy that began with the mixtapes which have to delve “into their own personal journey of  Suga.

The album will be released on April 21 at midnight. ET was written and produced by Suga.

A pre-release track called “People Pt.2,” which featured guest vocals from the well-known Korean singer-songwriter IU, came before the record. The beautifil song “talks about the endless relationships between people and the emotions felt,” according to a press release.

Suga raps, “They say life is a struggle between resistance and submission,” over a boom-bap beat on the track. I say it’s a fight against loneliness; if you can’t stop crying, it’s okay; you already have enough love.

The star released the complete tracklist for D-DAY on April 9 and revealed several additional well-known collaborators. Suga’s BTS bandmate J-hope will be seen on the track “HUH?!,” which features The Rose singer Woosung and the late acclaimed composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.

The album’s lead single, “Haegeum,” will be written and produced entirely by Suga. The artist collaborated with producer EL CAPITXN on several other tracks on the album, including the album’s closing track, “Life Goes On,” which is notable for sharing its title with BTS’s first Korean song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Suga told Weverse Magazine in June 2022 that he will be “working hard on a follow-up to D-2” when discussing what would become D-Day. He added, speaking of his development as a producer: I’ve been reflecting on the fact that I really don’t know what kind of music I should play when I get older and should try a few different styles right now. Although I can work in various genres, none are intense, so this is a blessing and a curse. I use a variety of styles because of this, and when I promote my work, I include many things I like, like surprises and twists.

As well as the new collection, Suga will likewise, before long, offer another Disney+ narrative named Street To D-Day. A press release says that the star will go on a road trip through Seoul, San Francisco, Tokyo, and Las Vegas in search of  “inspiration in the form of new sounds and experiences.”

The documentary will showcase Suga and his impressive skill set, giving viewers an intimate look into the life of one of the world’s biggest stars,” but no release date has been established as of yet.

Conversely, the rapper will become the first BTS member to go on a solo tour on April 26. That day, the dates will begin in New York and continue across the United States. After that, additional dates will be held in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and South Korea.

Suga will be the fifth BTS member to release music on her own. In July 2022, J-hope released his debut album, Jack In The Box. In February 2023, he released the single “On The Street.” Jin shared the Coldplay-featuring single “The Astronaut” in October 2022, and two months later, RM released his album Indigo.

The single “Like Crazy” became the first song by the Korean soloist to top the Billboard Hot 100 last month and was included on Jimin’s debut album FACE.
