Telugu Actress Sowmya Janu under scrutiny after video shows altercation with policeman

Telugu actress Sowmya has recently drawn criticism after it was spotted that she was allegedly seen physically attacking a traffic cop in Hyderabad. The video went viral on social media. It has been stated that she was stopped by the on-duty official because she was traveling the incorrect way. In a video that went viral on X, the platform that was once known as Twitter, Sowmya was seen insulting the police officer and ripping his clothes.

What actually transpired... 

According to reports, the event happened in Banjara Hills on Saturday night, February 24. Sowmya was on the wrong side of the road and happened to be driving a Jaguar. She was stopped by a traffic police officer. The actress became enraged and violently attacked him.

Even though she acknowledges in the video that she was going in the wrong direction, she continues to defend her decision, as can be seen in the video. Sowmya Janu has not yet responded to the event. In the meantime, a number of social media users are calling for the actress to face harsh penalties.
